Server Technology (News - Alert), a provider of rack mount power distribution units (PDUs) and data center power monitoring solutions, has been named to CRN’s 2012 Data Center 100 list for its intelligent cabinet PDUs.
According to company officials, Server Technology’s intelligent cabinet PDUs are known for being the “standard-bearer of the industry with unmatched quality, reliability and performance.” The company holds the largest number of patents in that industry.
Server Technology built the Sentry CDUs and Sentry Power Manager (SPM) based on the innovative Server Tech Quality Power Architecture (QPA) to provide the industry’s most accurate information to maximize rack density, reduce overloading and monitor energy efficiency, the company said.
The modular architecture offers the flexibility and enables quick delivery of solutions that meet customer-specific requirements.
Server Technology boasts the largest number of data center power products in the industry with over 2,000 types of rack-level PDUs exclusively designed for the data center and telecommunications markets. In 2011 alone, the company introduced almost 300 new products into the rack mount power distribution unit space.
All of the Sentry CDUs are 100 percent performance tested in Server Technology’s state-of-the-art Power Lab, the company said in a press release.
CRN’s 2012 Data Center 100 list recognized top 100 companies that develop data center power products and solutions designed to improve energy efficiency and ROI, while reducing downtime and operational costs.
Each vendor on the Data Center 100 list has recently provided solution providers with an opportunity to grow their businesses by offering cutting-edge products and services to customers, according to CRN officials.
“The 2012 Data Center 100 list recognizes vendors that, over the course of 2011 have shown a dedication to the innovation and advancement of today’s data center services,” said Kelley Damore, vice president and editorial director for UBM Channel, in a statement. “The recent upsurge in cloud computing has solution providers searching for new ways to ensure their clients maintain connectivity while mitigating costs and security threats.”
