PDUs Direct, a global master distributor for data center and IT cabinet power distribution units (PDUs) from Server Technology (News - Alert), announced it has entered into a partnership with Anixter, CSC and Synnex, to make the buying process quicker and easier for customers.
Server Technology provides companies with power management solutions to improve uptime and energy efficiency while reducing carbon footprint and operating costs. The company makes intelligent cabinet-level power distribution units (CDUs) that set the industry-standard for quality and functionality.
“We’ve built a reputation for selling Server Technology basic, metered and select switched PDUs at a lower cost and with quicker delivery than anyone else today,” said George Holman, president of PDUs Direct, in a statement. “These new partnerships with Anixter (News - Alert), CSC and Synnex will give us a better way to reach our customers around the world, providing them with Server Technology quality PDUs -- faster and more simply than ever before.”
Following this partnership, PDUs Direct customers will now be able to purchase the entire PDUs Direct line directly from Anixter, CSC or Synnex, company officials said. This will shorten delivery times, reduce costs and make the buying process simple and easy.
“Whether it’s a very large data center or a small server closet, PDUs Direct can supply you with the right basic, metered or select switched PDU – all with the best customer service – fast and easy,” said Holman. “Adding our new distribution partners will give customers additional options on how they can buy Server Technology’s quality PDUs.”
Recently Server Technology announced a partnership with RF Code, a provider of active IT asset management and environmental monitoring solutions, to develop a rack level wire-free power monitoring solution designed for data center energy optimization.
The solution integrates Server Technology’s Smart and Switched cabinet power distribution units (CDUs) with patented Per Inlet Power Sensing (PIPSTM), with or without Per Outlet Power Sensing (POPSTM) functionality, with RF Code’s active RFID hardware and management software, company officials said.
