Novacoast Acquires Data Technique

Novacoast, Inc., an IT professional services and product development firm, has successfully completed the acquisition of Data Technique, Inc.

Data Technique is a privately held company that has served the Midwest market since 1986 with core competencies that include identity and access management, virtualization and cloud computing services.

Terry Calloway, President of Data Technique sees this acquisition as an extraordinary opportunity for both companies. In a press release, he said "Data Technique, Inc. will bring experience and additional skill sets to the Novacoast team as well as DTI's (News - Alert) product, ConneXcloud".

"I am very excited about the acquisition of Data Technique, Inc.," says Paul Anderson, President and CEO of Novacoast. "I have personally known and have worked with Terry Calloway for many years. He has a stellar reputation in the industry and Novacoast will benefit greatly from the experience and knowledge that he and his team bring to our company."

Novacoast, now with this acquisition, which is considered as a significant channel development for Novell (News - Alert) customers, will be able to grow their products, services and technologies.

In a statement, Scott Lewis, Novell's Vice President of Partner Marketing, "This merger combines the reach and service levels of two strong Novell Partners for our shared customers. Both companies have services capabilities that combine with Novell and other products to meet customers' needs for Intelligent Workload Management from physical to virtual to cloud computing environments."

In related news, Novacoast, an IT professional services and product development firm, announced the acquisition of Network Design & Integration, a privately held company that has served the national market in enterprise security for over 15 years.
