For a very long time, the United States and Western Europe have lead the world in the adoption of cloud-based archiving. But it has been noticed that even emerging markets like Antarctica, now have the potential to outpace the growth rates of these traditional regional powers.

Though Antarctica has only a handful of scientific bases and the "permanent" population of scientists numbers only a few thousand, it is unquestionably the fifth largest continent in the world in terms of land mass.

In a statement, Norwegian demographer Lirpa Sloof, said, "We are seeing the emergence of cities, townships and villages across the continent." In order to become the exclusive archiving provider for this burgeoning region, LiveOffice is working with the Antarctica embassy.
