By Madhubanti Rudra, TMCnet Contributor

An Internet and mobile cloud monitoring company Keynote Systems, recently announced a marketing alliance with AppDynamics, a leading provider of application management for modern application architectures in both the cloud and the data center.

In a press release, the companies revealed that the partnership is aimed at making a complete end-to-end performance monitoring solution available for the enterprise customers worldwide. The partnership includes technological collaboration for the development of a joint solution based on Keynote’s expertise in achieving optimal online performance and AppDynamics' application management for dynamic cloud environments.

The users of the AppDynamics/Keynote joint solution will gain access to a combination of geographically distributed active transaction monitoring from Keynote and cloud application troubleshooting from AppDynamics. This will give the customers proactive, 24/7 visibility into the performance of critical cloud applications, and help the users at multiple geographic locations gain performance insights.

“Several of our joint customers run revenue-critical Web applications that generate over $1B in revenue for their respective companies. These applications are highly distributed, agile, and often rely on dynamic cloud capacity. The alliance between AppDynamics and Keynote provides our joint customers with innovative solutions from both companies to assure the performance and availability of their cloud applications,” AppDynamics' founder and CEO, Jyoti Bansal, explained in a statement.

In the press release, the officials at the partnering companies explained how the customers are going to be benefited from the joint solution. The companies claimed that the solution is the fastest-to-deploy and easiest-to-use cloud management solution currently available in the market. According to the partnering companies, the deployment is possible with considerably low installation requirements. As opposed to traditional software-only based solutions, IT teams do not have to bother about its management post-deployment.

The solution also rapidly troubleshoot performance problems, including caching issues, distributed communication issues, poorly performing application code, inefficient database queries, memory leaks, and insufficient compute capacity on the cloud clusters, the companies claimed.

A few weeks back, Keynote Systems (News - Alert) launched Cloud Application Perspective that brings performance monitoring to private clouds. Cloud Application Perspective, according to company officials, is the world’s first software-as-a-service-based application monitoring for private clouds.
