By Jamie Epstein, TMCnet Web Editor

Right now, the technology world is abuzz with the huge amount of news coming out of ITEXPO West 2011, the world’s communication conference taking place from September 13-15, 2011. It was just revealed that on the last day of the not-to- miss event, Spiceworks manager of IT Marketing Nicole Tanzillo will join hands with representatives from Broadview Networks (News - Alert) and Telesphere in order to closely analyze the many benefits that small and mid-sized businesses or SMBs can see when beginning to utilize cloud computing.

Known as the world’s largest social business network for IT, Spiceworks combines free IT management software with a community very similar to Facebook.

During the session entitled, “Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Cloud: Top 10 Reasons SMBs Need Not Fear the Cloud” the thought leaders will highlight some of the most popular concerns SMBs have in regards to cloud-based solutions, a press release revealed. In addition, these highly knowledgeable speakers will provide attendees with the tools needed to overcome these challenges and transition to the cloud without worry.

Slated to take place on Thursday, September 15th at 9:00AM CDT (News - Alert), Juliana Kenny, managing editor for TMCnet, will act as moderator and be joined by Tanzillo from Spiceworks along with George Grabowich, from Broadview Networks and Sanjay Srinivasan representing Telesphere (News - Alert).

In related company news, TMCnet reported earlier this week that Spiceworks has plans to release new solutions that will help to make the company’s user buying processes a lot less complicated. Scheduled to be released within the next month or two, Verison 5.2 of Spiceworks software will offer dramatically improved functionalities to its customers, making it an invaluable resource all organizations.
