enStratus Signs Joint Marketing Agreement with Science Applications International Corporation for Cloud Communication

enStratus, a company providing cloud infrastructure management solutions for deploying and managing enterprise-class applications in public, private and hybrid clouds, recently announced in a press release that it has signed a joint marketing agreement with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC (News - Alert)) to deliver a complete suite of cloud services and solutions. SAIC provides a suite of services for organizations planning to move to the cloud.

Both the companies have teamed up to enable customers to leverage SAIC proven processes and expertise in emerging technologies as well as the cloud governance capabilities of the enStratus cloud management platform. The customers will be able to plan, deploy and manage their applications and infrastructure for their public or private clouds. The companies will strive to ensure that cloud initiatives are delivered with high performance, best-in-class processes and reduced risk.

"We are excited about working with enStratus and adding advanced cloud management and governance solution to our offerings," said Charles Onstott, Homeland and Civilian Solutions CTO from SAIC, in a statement. "As enterprises and federal agencies begin moving to the cloud, the ability to provision, manage, control, and monitor cloud infrastructure resources across private, community, federal community, and public clouds will be critical to success."

"SAIC is a proven cloud service provider and we are thrilled to be working with them," said David Bagley, enStratus CEO. "The addition of SAIC's planning, strategy and assessment services enable us to deliver a complete solution for clients."

With its services, SAIC can help successfully maximize the power of the cloud. The organization was recently awarded a multiple-award indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity contract by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic to help procure and deliver command and control equipment and services. The contract has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options and a ceiling value of $500 million for all awardees. Work will be performed in Abingdon, Md., and Charleston, S.C.
