Cloud Communications Company Telesphere Dives into Medical Field

By David Sims, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Officials at Telesphere (News - Alert), a cloud communications company with mission of presenting smarter voice and data solution for business, say their products are aimed at "simplifying the way you connect with business VoIP systems." The medical field is one area in particular where they are touted for providing beneficial solutions.

Company officials say that Telesphere products can be used to facilitate the management of massive data transfers, which occur frequently in medical settings. By using “a generous bandwidth,” Telesphere cloud communications products provide speed and capacity needed to use health record technology services.”

With privacy being of the utmost importance in the medical field, Telesphere also offers private, dedicated and ‘smart’ T-1, DS3 and Ethernet lines, so that users can have a personal, secure pipe that “provides large bandwidth, offers duality of service and prioritizes voice over data packets to guarantee crystal-clear voice quality, company officials say.

In the event of power or circuit failures, which are oftentimes unavoidable, Telesphere’s pre-set disaster call routing feature is designed to ensure that incoming calls from patients or staff still reach at designated locations. The product provides fully hosted, fully managed business VoIP systems and services, “including round-the-clock technical support, pro-active monitoring, security updates and platform-wide upgrades” to ensure seamless connectivity to designated locations.

Company officials also tout Telesphere’s nationwide, multi-site 4-digit dialing, which they say makes it possible to call medical institutions anywhere in the country through a secure, private WAN without paying hefty long-distance fees.

“Connect with colleagues and staff at geographically distant locations on the Telesphere network for free,” says Telesphere.

The cloud communications company also offers secure, paperless faxing. With Telesphere’s Fax to Email, confidential faxes will be kept private and Telesphere will guarantee that faxes are delivered only to the intended recipients.

Recently, TMC (News - Alert) reported that Telesphere’s success with its latest service Speak2Dial has been so great that the company decided to extend its use of Lyrix Inc’s Mobiso Suite, which powers the service.

Speak2Dial allows users to access a company’s directory through voice prompts from their office or cellular phone. Instead of having to memorize someone’s extension or start typing a person’s last name into the phone to find his/her line, Speak2Dial allows users to do all of that by simply using their voice.
